The blue arm strap is designed for comfort and convenience. It permits one person to carry or walk a patient, along with the fluids, the SAIV Set, and I.V. tubing, while the patient continues to receive I.V. therapy. The shoe has a "D" ring attached to it with a Velcro-backed strap that can be detached from the arm strap to temporarily hang the fluids, the SAIV Set and tubing in another area. The arm strap is a must if you want to improve hospital efficiency!!

Insert your arm through the loop in the blue arm strap.

Pass the strap behind your neck then let the attached white shoe hang downward.

If necessary, readjust the position of the shoe utilizing the Velcro so the white shoe is as high as possible on the front of your shoulder. Then remove the swivel/coil from the cage and insert it in the shoe on the strap.

Attach the fluid bag (container) to one of the hooks on the white shoe.

Put a leash on the patient and you are ready to walk the patient while still receiving I.V. fluids.
Cats can be carried.
