Here's how the Flex-coil™ System works. A reusable shoe with adhesive backing is mounted to the top, center of the cage. A primary I.V. set from the fluids or infusion pump leads to the swivel and coil. The swivel with attached coil and injection site snaps into the shoe. The end of the coil attaches to a collar or neck I.D. band. The extension set attaches between the end of the coil and a I.V. catheter. For portability there is an arm strap to hold the swivel, fluids and I.V. lines while walking or moving the patient.

The adjustable length, portable, 1” diameter tension rod with attached Flex-coil™ System Shoe is designed for use in animal runs. The rod with shoe suspends the Flex-coil™ swivel device above and out of reach of the patient at the center of the run and enables the patient to move about freely without kinking, twisting or damaging the I.V. line. The rod can be mounted on solid or chain-link side walls. The rods are made to order to best fit your runs.
